Welcome to Superior Poultry Products LLC

Regenerative, pasture-based farming and heritage-breed chickens have always been my passion. Our story starts in 2012 when we bought our first 50 layers and built our first chicken coop. After a couple years of raising broilers & layers on pasture it became very obvious we needed a better coop for our farm. We went to a local weld shop with a dream & a vision in our mind to develop a coop that our chickens and our farm could truly enjoy! The brand Alumi-CoopsTM was born with three key features in mind:

  1. Built to last with an aluminum frame.
  2. A smooth, adjustable wheel system (our proprietary Alpha-Lite Wheel SystemTM.)
  3. Designed from a chicken’s perspective to completely eliminate stress, therefore gaining more production!

Now even though we have thousands of farms & homesteads experiencing the Alumi-CoopTM, we are always striving to build a culture of continuous improvement in all we do

What Size Do I Need?

Whether you are new to poultry farming or you have years of experience, we are committed to helping you choose the best possible option.
Turkeys:
Use the second number in the graph if you are using hybrid genetics/16 week harvest dates. For heritage breeds, use the first number/24 week harvest dates.
Ducks: Use the second number in the graph if you are using Pekin meat genetics and the first number if using Muscovy meat ducks or duck egg Layers.
Layers: Use the second number in the graph if you are using hybrid Layers, and the first number if using heritage breed Layers.
Broilers: Use the second number in the graph for Cornish-Cross genetics/6-8 week harvest dates, 4-6 lbs carcass weights. Use the first number if using a slower growing strain such as Freedom Ranger or a heritage breed/9 week harvest dates

A couple hundred of 12×24’s are now in use since their introduction in 2021.
Feedback on growouts from our farm and across the United States & Canada have been very positive. However some key things to keep in mind if considering the 12×24 are: Do not use on very hilly or uneven fields. While you can easily move the 12×24 with one person pulling straight ahead it is best to use two people after locking handle mechanism in place. Not recommended in tall grass higher than 24 inches! Pictured is a 12×24 on our farm hogging down a 16 inch tall clover-grass mix.
